Here’s How We Transformed a Dark Bathroom into a Home Spa Experience!
Modern Luxury and customized durability was the goal for this stunning Riverheights bathroom. The small pocket shower and shallow tub were replaced with a large walk-in shower and a modern freestanding soaker tub for two. For this bathroom, we did a full demo with all new plumbing, water lines, and drains. Full demos are never without surprise challenges, but they were well worth it for these results! Everything was individualized with tons of feedback from the homeowner including a custom vanity and pre-ordered rain showerhead. The fully tiled, epoxy grouted shower and bath have the benefit of being fully waterproofed.
His and her sinks are under-mounted and solidly topped with quartz countertops. The shower has stylish black plumbing features and modern two-sided glass with black trim. Bold, modern accents pop against soothing tones and classic tiling. Custom quartz ledges and soap pockets are one of the many small details that make this bathroom feel both luxurious and personal.

Challenges:
- As the renovation was nearing the end, the client requested a specific custom shower head. It needed to be specially ordered and took some time to arrive, especially with global shipping delays. We were still able to complete the project on time and the client was very happy in the end.
- Extra-large shower and freestanding 2 person tub created challenges with the layout.
- Custom quartz tile for the shower trim and shampoo niche were subject to shipping delays.
- The freestanding tub took 6 months to arrive.
