Owner Spotlight: Shaun Boivin

Hi, I’m Shaun Boivin, proud owner of Dash Builders.

Today, I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

The most enjoyable part of my work is building something unique, which will be appreciated. At Dash Builders, we live to take an unloved part of a client’s home and turn it into something they will use and enjoy for years to come.

I grew up in Birds Hill, Manitoba, located just Northeast of Winnipeg.

I have been in business for eight years.

At Dash Builders, we take care of every aspect of a customer’s project. We deal with our clients directly. With our team of highly-skilled tradespeople, we complete all the work ourselves.

On a typical day, I can usually be found at one job site. I stay at the client’s site most of the day; concentrating on important tasks toward completing the project. This is one way I know that we are providing quality work to our customers. Any day, including Sundays, I might visit prospective clients to discuss their renovation needs. I work an average of 10 hours per day.

The most important decisions I face are focused on coordinating all aspects of the project. I take the management of each job seriously. This is the key to earning the highest levels of satisfaction from our customers.

The most valuable skills I use to perform my job successfully are carpentry, trades management, flexibility, and creativity.

I attribute my success to customer satisfaction and creativity. I strive to always leave my customers happy with our work. My creativity allows me to construct beautiful and functional design solutions.

Another business I admire greatly is Kloos Hauling (klooshauling.com). They have built their company from the ground up and turned it into a thriving business. Their success is based on hard work – a value which I strongly respect.

My close buddy, Mike Lemke, has had a profound impact on my personal and professional development. His values have greatly influenced my leadership style and I’m proud to call him a friend.

I enjoy spending time with family and friends. To date, the most satisfying moment in my life has been having a child. My time away from work also allows me to concentrate on my own creative construction projects.

A cause that I feel strongly about supporting is medical research. The field of medical research improves the quality of life for those suffering. Additionally, modern advances are improving the entire health system for society.

The personal values which have laid the foundation for my personal and professional success are being family-oriented, loyal, trustworthy, reliable, and hardworking.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.

If you or someone you know could benefit from our expertise in kitchen renovations, bathroom renovations, and basement renovations in Winnipeg, I invite you to get in touch.

Sincerely,

Shaun
